Contact And Corrections
Questions, corrections and listing updates are welcome by email at info@tokyomuseums.org. This is an independent directory of Tokyo museums, run without a byline, and the fastest way to fix an error on a page is to send it in.
Corrections are especially useful in a few specific shapes:
- a price that has changed at the door or online
- a museum that has reopened after a closure, or closed permanently
- an advance-booking rule that has moved, such as a new timed-slot requirement or a change of ticket channel
- a listing that has gone, meaning a product that no longer sells or a page that should come down
A short note naming the museum and what changed is enough. If a page on this site contradicts a museum's own site, the museum's own site wins, and the page will be corrected.
This Site Is Not A Box Office
To be plain about it: this site is not the box office of any museum. It cannot book a ticket, change a ticket, or refund a ticket, and it holds no booking on any visitor's behalf.
Every ticket question, including changes, cancellations, refunds, entry times and entry conditions, goes to the museum itself or to the platform the ticket was bought from. The seller named on the booking confirmation is the one to contact. This directory points readers at where tickets are sold; it never sells them.
What Email Is For
The inbox at info@tokyomuseums.org is for corrections, questions about the listings, and feedback on what this directory covers. It is not for booking, rescheduling or refund requests, because none of those can be acted on here.
If a museum page here is out of date, say which page and what is wrong. Corrections are read, checked against the museum's own published information, and applied to the page.
